Portable Gas Heater

This portable gas heater is a must to have stored in the home. It will last for years and may never get used but reassuring to have just in case of any emergency like a power cut on a cold, chilly night. Yep, power goes out and takes down your boiler with it! We recently had a power cut on a very cold night and managed to share some of our portable gas heaters with our neighbours to keep them going until the engineers could get out to repair the fault six hours later.

This portable gas heater is ideally for outside use when camping, having a barbeque but can be used in any well ventillated area including sheds and caravans. Measuring just ‎42cm x 26cm x 20cm, it uses 100gm/hr with a heat output of 1.3kW, enough to heat your living space if and when required. The heating element is on a swivel so you can direct the heat to where you most need it. On you! You can also use it as a stove.

It's simplicity itself to use. Simply insert a butane gas cylinder (below), secure it with the in-built lever, pull out the fitted metal tag then turn it on. The portable heater has a piezo ignition so no need for matches and a pressure sensing safety cut off so if it gets too hot, it simply turns itself off. Always best to invest in one of these affordable little heaters during the summer months because then they are at their cheapest. Also great to keep in the car if you're out fishing or camping.
